Getting Started

KeepFlash is a personal knowledge library where you can save webpages, PDFs, YouTube videos, and notes — then search, annotate, and ask AI questions about your saved content.

Quick start

1. Create a free account — No credit card required. 150 notes included.
2. Install the browser extension — Save webpages and YouTube videos with one click.
3. Save your first item — A link, PDF, or quick note.
4. Search and explore — Use keywords or semantic search to find what you saved.

Core Concepts

Notes

Every item in KeepFlash is a note. Notes can be:

• Links — Saved webpages with the readable article body preserved
• PDFs — Uploaded documents you can highlight and annotate
• Video notes — YouTube videos with transcript and chapter support
• Plain notes — Block-based rich text notes written directly in KeepFlash

Spaces

Spaces let you separate your library into distinct contexts — for example, one space for work research and another for personal reading.

Tags

AI suggests tags for each note you save, reusing your existing tags whenever possible. You can also add, edit, or remove tags manually.

Topic Pages (Auto Wiki)

When related material accumulates in your library, Auto Wiki can compile connected notes and links into a Topic Page you can read, revisit, and keep asking about.

AI Chat

Open any note or Topic Page and use AI chat to ask questions. The current content acts as context — you get answers grounded in what you actually saved, with citations.

Browser Extension

The KeepFlash browser extension works with Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.

• Click the extension icon to save the current page
• Use the popup to search your library without leaving the current tab
• On YouTube pages, the extension captures the video link, title, and transcript
